The statement says that the training will allow Ukrainian pilots to fly modern NATO-standard fighter jets in the future.

🇬🇧🇺🇦 Since this training will take years (if it is really taking place) the much more likely explanation is that NATO is preparing to send NATO warplanes along with NATO pilots in Ukrainian uniforms.
There are many historical examples of this being done. It will be difficult to put in the air a number of warplanes that fits this narrative and not simply have these jets shot out of the sky. ↘️

Regarding this list of Western tanks pledged to Ukraine:
▪️This is about what NATO sent last year in terms of tanks - mostly modernized Soviet-era tanks Ukrainian forces were familiar with operating/maintaining;
▪️ Ukraine began the SMO with around 1,000 tanks, between those and all 2022 deliveries, it appears the majority have been destroyed;
▪️The American M1A2s haven't been built yet. Questionable whether or not they'll be ready for use any time in 2023;
▪️88 Leopard 1 tanks are antiquated, under-armed and under-armored, unable to be used as "tanks" but instead as assault guns;
▪️ Anti-Russian media Novaya Gazeta admits that Russia can make at least 850 tanks a year (a combination of modernized tanks + new tanks), almost 2x what the West pledged;
▪️ The 850 tanks Russia can make will be of varieties Russian forces are familiar with operating and sustaining on the battlefield;

I guess it's just a coincidence many Ukrainian soldiers have Nazi tattoos, extend their right arm up into the air when excited, paint white crosses on the sides of their vehicles suspiciously similar to the Balkenkreuz or have patches on their uniforms of actual SS units from WW2...

The German government already saluted Hitler by sending German tanks named after big cats to LITERAL NAZIS in Ukraine who are going to paint Nazi emblems on the side of them on their way to kill Russians.
The entire West put Nazis into power in Ukraine and have supported them eagerly ever since. Russia understands this. The Russian president pointed out how sending the Leopard tanks in and of themselves was already proof the toxic history of Nazism was repeating itself.
If you want to be willfully ignorant, blind, and naive, convincing yourself somehow the German government is "innocent," I say with certainty you are following the wrong channel.

⚔️🇷🇺🇺🇦Leopard 1 vs T-62 Tanks - Or What does war propaganda Look Like
▪️On one hand Russia is "desperate" for employing T-62s, designed in the 1950s and retired by most operators long ago.
▪️On the other hand, Ukraine is getting "good guns" via Leopard 1 tanks which were also designed in the 1950s and retired by most operators long ago.
▪️War propaganda looks like this - reporting on similar developments on both sides in an entirely different manner.
▪️In reality, Russian T-62s make excellent assault guns - mobile gun platforms protected from small arms fire used to give infantry additional firepower they themselves lack.
▪️The Leopard 1 if used in the assault gun role, will likewise be useful for Ukraine.
▪️If Leopard 1s are being used as tanks (heavily armed/armored breakthrough offensive weapons) then they will be next to useless.

This hysteria over an observation balloon is deliberately manipulated to maximize fear, hysteria, anger, and hatred toward China ahead of Washington's plans to wage war on China.
Disparity between the US and China in terms of economic and military power is narrowing. In just a few years (likely around 2025) it will close. Then it will begin drifting apart again, but in China's favor.
The goal is to wage a destructive war against China to justify measures to isolate it politically and economically while causing damage to both China itself and the rest of Asia.
This is just one step of several more to come. The process has begun.

🇲🇲🇮🇩 Myanmar's civil war was a topic of high importance at ASEAN meeting.
The conflict in Myanmar dominated the year's first meeting of ASEAN foreign ministers in Jakarta on Friday.
The foreign minister of Indonesia, which chairs the Association of Southeast Asian Nations this year, said the bloc was pushing for inclusive dialogue between all stakeholders in Myanmar.
Since a Feb. 1 coup two years ago, Myanmar have been plunged in chaos and violence. ASEAN plan to solve the conflict, which includes the cessation of conflict and the start of dialogue has never been implemented.
Many experts believe that Indonesia must play a key role in the conflict resolving by changing ASEAN countries views on the matter.

The big scary balloon is a Chinese meteorological probe that has lost control, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
"The balloon arrived from China, its purpose is civilian, in particular, the probe is used for meteorological research. Due to the strong west wind, the balloon lost control and deviated from the set course," the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry quoted the official as saying.
Earlier, Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder said US authorities had spotted a "China reconnaissance balloon."
And now Blinken postponed his visit to Beijing because of this situation.

Even though these rockets provide Ukraine with the ability to strike at further ranges, and while the rockets and guided-bombs exist in large quantities, both integrated into the GLSDB do not. Producing integrated GLSDBs will happen in small numbers.
Reuters in a late-November article reported:
"The M26 rocket motor is relatively abundant, and the GBU-39 costs about $40,000 each, making the completed GLSDB inexpensive and its main components readily available. Although arms manufacturers are struggling with demand, those factors make it possible to yield weapons by early 2023, albeit at a low rate of production."

🇺🇸(🇨🇳?) Alleged Chinese "Spy" Balloon Pales in Comparison to US Violations of Chinese Sovereignty
CNN and others are reporting on a supposed Chinese "spy balloon" drifting at high altitude over the US.
Even if it is Chinese, keep in mind the regular provocations of the US inside Chinese territory.
This includes years of supporting violent separatism in Xinjiang and Hong Kong, and not only separatism in Taiwan, but the US admittedly has US troops on the island itself!
This is despite Washington recognizing the One China Policy, officially not supporting Taiwan independence, and by extension, recognizing Chinese sovereignty over the island.
Those complaining about one and not the other illustrate American exceptionalism in practice.

For months journalists on the ground including Eva Bartlett reported Ukraine firing "petal mines" into civilian areas specifically to maim/kill civilians.
Now even Western rights orgs like HRW admit this.
NPR in its article, "Human Rights Watch urges investigation of alleged use of land mines by Ukraine," admits:
"HRW suggests that Ukraine scattered so-called petal mines in and around the eastern Ukrainian city of Izium.
The report contradicts previous claims, including from Human Rights Watch itself, that Ukraine has only used anti-vehicle mines since Russia invaded in February 2022. "
We see how far behind/incomplete the West is in holding Ukraine accountable, and how accurate reporters like Eva and Patrick are on the ground.
NPR still falls short of the full truth - NPR cites the UK MoD who previously accused Russia of using these mines in the streets of Donetsk. It is now obvious the UK MoD lied & it was Ukraine all along.

The United States renewed a warning that it would defend its treaty ally if Filipino forces come under attack in the disputed South China Sea.
US State Department spokesperson Ned Price said China’s “dangerous behavior directly threatens regional peace and stability, infringes upon freedom of navigation in the South China Sea.”
“The United States stands with our Philippine allies,” Price stated.
