🇩🇪El ejército alemán no es capaz de proteger al país contra ninguna ofensiva, según palabras de su ministro de Defensa, Boris Pistorius.
Además, alegó que la Bundeswehr no cuenta con suficiente personal ni equipo después de haber sido descuidada por el gobierno federal durante décadas.
“No tenemos unas fuerzas armadas que sean capaces de defender [Alemania], es decir, capaces de defender[la] contra una guerra librada de forma agresiva y brutal”, dijo el ministro de Defensa alemán, Boris Pistorius, durante una reunión con miembros del Partido Socialdemócrata.
El ministro afirmó que el ejército alemán tiene poco personal y no tiene el equipo adecuado, ya que ha sido descuidado por el Gobierno federal durante décadas.
Dijo que Alemania tendrá que aumentar su inversión en su ejército para estar a la altura de los estándares de la OTAN.
🇬🇧German army is not capable of protecting the country against any offensive, said Defence Minister Boris Pistorius. He further alleged that the Bundeswehr is understaffed and under-equipped after being left neglected from the federal government for decades.
“We have no armed forces that are capable of defending [Germany] that is, capable of defending [it] against an offensive, brutally waged aggressive war,” German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said during a meeting with fellow members of the Social Democratic Party.
The minister claimed that the German army is understaffed and does not have adequate equipment as it has been neglected from the federal government for decades.
He said Germany will have to increase its investment in its military in order to be up to NATO standards.
