🇩🇪 Nachrichtensperre in der Ukraine: Es dürfen jetzt keine Bilder mehr von abgeschossenen Drohnen und Einschlägen veröffentlicht werden. Tut man es dennoch, muss man in der Ukraine damit rechnen, Besuch vom ukrainischen Geheimdienst SBU zu bekommen. Hintergrund ist, weil man die russische Propaganda mit solchen Bildern nicht befeuern will.
In anderen Worten: In den letzten Tagen sind Bilder von Raketen durchs Netz gegangen, die von den Ukrainern zwecks Luftabwehr abgeschossen wurden, dann aber in irgendwelche Häuser gekracht sind.

🇩🇪 Der Lend-and-Lease Act 2022 sorgt dafür, dass die Ukrainer Waffen aus den USA bestellen und die EU dafür bezahlen muss.
Die USA schenkt der Ukraine nichts. Alle Waffen sind Leihgaben. Da das meiste aber zerstört wird, wächst der Schuldenberg an die USA immer weiter an, sodass die EU mit Summen von 3,5 Mrd. Euro pro Monat rechen muss (Stand: September 2022, Quelle Berliner Zeitung), um die geliehenen Waffen der Amerikaner an die Ukraine zu bezahlen. Unsere Waffen sind natürlich keine Leihgaben, sondern Schenkungen.
Das Konzept ist nicht neu. Aber interessant ist, dass dieser Lend-and-Lease Act 2022 bereits am 25. Januar 2022, also einen Monat vor Kriegsausbruch, eingebracht wurde.

🇬🇧 The Lend-and-Lease Act 2022 ensures that the Ukrainians order weapons from the US and the EU has to pay for them.
The US does not give Ukraine anything for free. All weapons are lent. But since most of it is destroyed, the debt to the US keeps growing, so that the EU has to reckon with sums of 3.5 billion euros per month (Status: September 2022, source Berliner Zeitung) to pay for the weapons loaned by the Americans to Ukraine. Our weapons are not on loan, of course, but donated.
The concept is not new. But it is interesting that this Lend-and-Lease Act 2022 was already introduced on 25 January 2022, one month before the outbreak of war.

🇩🇪 Zelensky gab der Tagesschau gestern Abend ein Interview: Kurze Zusammenfassung: Die ersten 20 Minuten wirkte er müde. Man sprach hauptsächlich über Waffen und die Rolle des Westens. Dann wurde er emotionaler, etwas aggressiv, aufgrund der deutschen Zurückhaltung bzgl. der Panzerlieferungen.
Er betonte die Opferrolle der Ukraine und wie grausam die Russen seien. Er ließ in mehreren Äußerungen erkennen, dass die ukrainische Berichterstattung derzeit sehr emotional zu sein scheint.
Auf die Frage, ob die zusammengelegten Medienkanäle in der Ukraine irgendwann mal wieder mehr Meinungsvielfalt abbilden würden sagte er, dass die Medien eine Waffe sind und er als Präsident das Recht habe, diese zu Nutzen.
Zum Ende hin wirkte er immer genervter. Er betonte noch einmal, dass es mit Russland nur Verhandlungen geben kann, wenn die sich aus der Ukraine zurückziehen und dann auch scheinbar nicht mit Putin, sondern einer neuen Regierung.

🇬🇧 Zelensky gave an interview to the Tagesschau last night: Short summary: He seemed tired for the first 20 minutes. They talked mainly about weapons and the role of the West. Then he became more emotional, a bit aggressive, because of the German reluctance to supply tanks.
He emphasised Ukraine's victim role and how cruel the Russians were. He let it be known in several statements that Ukrainian reporting seems to be very emotional at the moment.
When asked whether the merged media channels in Ukraine would at some point reflect more diversity of opinion, he said that the media is a weapon and that he, as president, has the right to use it.
Towards the end, he seemed more and more annoyed. He emphasised once again that there can only be negotiations with Russia if they withdraw from Ukraine, and then not with Putin, but with a new government.

🇬🇧 In spring, the West wants to reconquer Crimea. We are heading for a bloodbath. The US is convinced that Putin will fall if Crimea is reconquered. Crimea is populated with about 2 million people. 🇬🇧 The media said that the German tanks will be delivered to Ukraine in March, after the Ukrainian soldiers have been trained on them here in Germany. The Abrams tanks are to be delivered in late summer at the earliest. Too bad that trains full of tanks are already moving east through Germany and Poland.
Note: The major Russian offensive is planned for February. It would not make sense to deliver the tanks after that. So why are we being lied to? Because public opinion must not change regarding the delivery of weapons. And it would if people realised that we are no longer focusing on defence, but on attack.

🇬🇧 Were the arms deliveries already a done deal last summer? At least that is what Dmitry Gordon, a Ukrainian TV presenter close to the government, claimed last year in August. He expected the now announced Crimean offensive by the Ukrainians as early as last September, with reference to the expected arms deliveries.
Olaf Scholz recently said in an interview that every step was well prepared, that Germany was the leading force and that the impression that Germany was indecisive was completely wrong.
The fact is: withdrawing thousands of soldiers from Ukraine now to train them would be self-destructive in view of the expected large-scale Russian offensive in February. It makes no sense. We see a theatre that serves to suggest to the audience that we are only concerned with defence.

Druck löst bei den Russen immer Protest und Gegendruck aus. Vielleicht sollte man das mal Herrn Stoltenberg vermitteln. Der ist nämlich, wie viele andere hier der Meinung, der Russe wird einknicken, wenn man ihn nur weit genug in die Ecke drängen würde.

🇬🇧 The media have been telling us for days that Crimea is to be recaptured in the coming major Ukrainian offensive. It is reported again and again that they want to advance via Zaporizhzhya to Melitopol in order to cut off Crimea from all land connections. But how realistic is that?
The media also told us that the Ukrainians' manpower would never be enough for a large-scale ground offensive. They are far inferior to the Russians in terms of manpower. Moreover, the German tanks are supposedly not to be delivered until March/April, the Abrams tanks now even not until the end of the year. Private video recordings, however, show that all these tanks have long since passed through Germany and Poland. The governor of Zaporizhzhya (Yevhen Balitsky) reported on January 25 that a Ukrainian force of about 40,000 men had been sighted.
A report full of contradictions, but which also presents us with a piece of truth. Namely, that we cannot rely on things happening as announced.
It is no secret what the Ukrainians want, nor what the Russians want. But the question of HOW the parties will achieve their goals is a question to which there could also be very surprising answers or possibilities. The fact is, one should never declare one's own moral concept to be the measure of all things if one does not want to experience any surprises. In a war, almost nothing is impossible and morality is usually only used to keep the audience in a good mood. They try to make the West look clumsy and haphazard and, if necessary, to spread disinformation so as not to show the hidden agenda behind it.
In my video, I therefore show another possibility that should not be ruled out as a strategy. Kherson (REGION) still remains the most effective way to separate Crimea from the mainland. But the Ukrainians lack the soldiers to do this. The Ukrainians could change that, with a "small" intended disaster. And that even in coordination with the allies.
Fact: Zelensky visited the regions of Mykolaiv (near Kherson) and Odessa on January 30. Perhaps a harbinger of what may come.
