🇵🇪Peruvian Prosecutor’s Office requests 36 months of preventive imprisonment for Castillo
Pedro Castillo, former President of Peru, is already preliminarily detained for 18 months in the Barbadillo prison in Lima while he is being investigated for “rebellion.”
Likewise, the Supreme Transitory Prosecutor’s Office requested preventive imprisonment against the former ministers of Transport and Communications, Juan Silva, and Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Geiner Alvarado.

🇦🇷Massive power cut in Argentina plunges millions into darkness
💡A major power outage crippled several of Argentina's provinces on Wednesday, plunging millions of people into darkness for at least two hours.
The blackout affected more than six million homes, around 20 million people, which corresponds to 40% of energy consumers in the region.
The massive outage, which hit around around 4.30pm local time, affected large swathes of the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA), Mendoza, Santa Fe, Córdoba, Neuquén and several other provinces.
The power cuts were caused by a fire on Atucha 1 nuclear power plant.
