Hi folks,

I am trying to run a node. I have read this article https://medium.com/sora-xor/how-to-run-a-sora-testnet-node-a4d42a9de1af

It seems to work as expected my container is running but i have some doubts, if you can help me to validate this :

1 - I am running the container using the -d parameter which is not used in the article. I think that it is not possible to do it other way

2 - If i activate the telemtry, we can see my node, location, etc and the sync state.

3 - If not activating telemetry ; How to see the sync state of the node ?

4 - Should i be able to connect to my node even without being fully sync ? My command is like this ws://192.168.5.105:9944 (local network)

In the not so distant future I will be able to transfer DOT tokens from my Polkadot address to my Sora wallet, without the use of any bridge, and trade DOT on Polkaswap.

But Polkaswap will be integrated with Fearless so I won't have to transfer tokens from Fearless to Sora.

It's like Fearless and Sora are the same wallet except for the parlament feature and the Hashi Bridge (probably more)

Things are looking good for decentralized projects, what with the FTX thing and whatnot. I read an article about how 2023 may be the year for these sort of dapps. I'm glad Sora still has a great headstart. Polkadot has its parachains but Sora has the keys to the rest of the market. I can't believe ..wait, it's actually quite relatable. People fall in love with projects so it's understandable that some think Solanus and Cardanus is the future. I'm sure there is an eye opener waiting for these infidels next year. My ONLY concern is whether Sora will have bridges on the app instead of having it's users depend on a PC. I know about the Kiwi browser or whatever but people want instant gratification and I'm hoping you devs are seriously taking this into consideration. Anyway, were probably early.

I think the best thing you can do is read all the medium articles about the past updates of sora’s tokenomics as it is a backup asset of xstusd and the new tokenomics that will be released in approximately 2 weeks.

In this update xor will stop supporting xstusd, making xor 100% deflationary until it reaches the value of the tbc, then the supply will be managed by the TBC (read the tbc article).

With the new tokenomics, synthetic assets will be backed by xst.

Anyway, you should devote some of your time to keeping up to date with your investments (personal opinion).
